At the 2015 International Pool, Spa & Patio Expo (IPSPE) in Las Vegas, which ran 10-12 November, Lucite International (LI) announced the addition of two new colours to its Lucite® SPA range, the world’s leading continuous cast acrylic material for spa. The new colors, Champagne Dreams and Deep Waters, were presented alongside the popular Winter Solstice at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, where visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the products from our experts.
Known for colour innovation, Lucite® SPA introduced the two new vibrant and on-trend shades as part of its Metallix™ Series. “Champagne Dreams and Deep Waters embody the current popularity of metallic shades in all facets of design,” said Beth Almond, AISD, colour consultant to LI. “Choice is important when it comes to hot tub colours, as we want consumers to think about how a spa fits into the overall look and feel of their home. Homeowners can now choose from more than 15 hues that come to life in textured granites, smooth, elegant marbles and lustrous surface effects that are designed to fit any environment.”
The cruise ship-themed booth at IPSPE sets the celebratory and relaxing scene of a well-deserved getaway at sea. Champagne Dreams elicits thoughts of soft moonlight and magic. It is a rich sophisticated rose-taupe. The color is sassy, yet classically chic and guaranteed to impress as an undeniable image of luxury, style and grace.
Deep Waters invites you to plunge into the depths of unfathomable waters with all the mystery and anticipation of a daring adventure. Swiftly ascending bubbles rush to the surface, scattering the sunlight’s rays as they flicker and diminish. Silence is now your solitary companion as you descend into the tranquil, quiet deep.
The booth also featured Winter Solstice, which quickly became a top seller after being introduced to the industry at last year’s show. Homeowners are drawn to the uniformity of the metallic colour as well as its silver sparkle.
“Helping dealers turn customer interest in owning a spa into an actual sale is part of our ongoing commitment to the industry,” said Chris Robinson, business manager for LI. “In addition to driving colour innovation, we also offer point-of-purchase materials that showcase the many colour options and identify the benefits of owning a spa made with Lucite® cast acrylic.
Commenting on the overall success of being at IPSPE, Chris also added: “The atmosphere was upbeat and we got some fantastic feedback to our new colours, which really re-energise our current offer.
A spa made from Lucite® cast acrylic has the strength, durability and toughness to withstand frequent use. Available in a wide array of textures and colors that won’t fade over time, Lucite® cast acrylic resists everyday wear and tear, stains, and superficial scratches.
