Today, Lucite International, launched a Pinterest giveaway to bring attention to its inaugural JUST IMAGINE Awards program. Followers of LuciteLux®’s JUST IMAGINE Awards board on Pinterest have a chance to win one of three prizes made with LuciteLux®: a vintage handbag, an Alexis Bittar cuff bracelet and a Jonathan Adler vase.

“LuciteLux® is revered by top designers as a material that enables them to turn their design vision into amazing reality. It rules the runway and the red carpet,” said Simon Ellis, business director for Lucite International. “Now with this Pinterest giveaway, our followers have a chance to own a piece of LuciteLux® from a handful of the many designers who work with our material.”

Entrants must create a Pinterest board entitled “JUST IMAGINE with LuciteLux®” containing a photo of the JUST IMAGINE Award logo and the phrase “justimagine” between now and June 10, 2013 to be eligible. They can post other images of products made with LuciteLux® to their boards or rename an existing board “JUST IMAGINE with LuciteLux®” and pin the logo image. To learn more, visit here.

The recently introduced JUST IMAGINE Awards invite professional designers as well as students of design to submit their completed work using LuciteLux® for judging by an esteemed panel, including Alexandra Von Furstenberg, designer of modern furniture and president of AVF, LLC.

“Our vision for the JUST IMAGINE Awards is to honor designers who have embraced the uniqueness of working with, and creating designs using our brand, LuciteLux®,” said Ellis.

The winner of the JUST IMAGINE Awards will be celebrated with a full-page spread in Architectural Record as well as a making-of documentary that tells the story of the designer’s work with LuciteLux®. Entrants can submit their projects online through September 27, 2013. The work must be completed using LuciteLux® between 2011 and 2013 to be eligible.
