Following on from the news we shared recently about the launch of the Perspex® Sweet Pastels acrylic range, we caught up with Jenna-leigh Harrison, Marketing and Communications Assistant for the EMEA acrylic sheet business, to see how the range has been received and what’s next. Jenna said: “We have been really happy to hear all the positive feedback after launching our exciting new products to the outside world! From both the colors and campaign concept perspectives, we’ve had nothing but great comments.”
Picking out a couple of examples; the PDL team in Tamworth reported it being ‘the fastest market response to any new product!’ while the Lucite International sales team has also had inquiries from across Europe regarding POS applications for a number of high street and fashion brands, where color seems to be the number one thing they are attracted to.
Jenna continued: “In the first 24 hours of our campaign web banner and product guide for Perspex® Sweet Pastels being live on perspex.com we had over 400 visitors – the most we’ve ever had in that time frame. A follow-up e-Shot to our contacts – customers, trade show visitors and website subscribers – achieved nearly 900 unique opens and 270 total clicks through to our website. These open/click rates are higher than industry averages. Sample requests have gone through the roof – around 4000 samples were sent out in the first week of our external launch, which is amazing.
